April's Adam Smith Tercentenary Lecturer is Baroness Minouche Shafik, Director of the London School of Economics and Political Science. Baroness Shafik is the Former Deputy Governor of the Bank of England, Former Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, and author of the 2021 book What We Owe Each Other: A New Social Contract.
